Now how do you suppose the elders knew if she was a virgin or not? What was this test? Suffice it to say that the woman didn’t have a chance, even if she was a virgin.

Deuteronomy 22:28 “If a man find a damsel that is a virgin, which is not betrothed, and lay hold on her, and lie with her, and they be found; Then the man that lay with the her shall give unto the damsel’s father fifty shekels of silver, and she shall be his wife; because he humbled her, he may not put her away all his days.”

So, it’s okay to rape a woman, but you have to give her father 50 shekels of silver and marry her. Again, she has no say in the matter. Nice, huh?

It was easy for a man to get rid of his wife:

Deuteronomy 24:1 “When a man hath taken a wife, and married her, and it come to pass that she find no favour in his eyes, because he hath found some uncleanness in her: then let him write her a bill of divorcement, and give it in her hand, and send her out of his house.”

Voilà! Au revoir! (There it is! Good-bye!)

Here’s a good one. What does a women get for defending her husband?

Deuteronomy 25:11-12 “When men strive [fight] together one with another, and the wife of the one draweth near for to deliver her husband out of the hand of him that smiteth him [which means “save her husband’s ass”], and putteth forth her hand, and taketh him by the secrets [grab his genitals]: Then thou shalt cut off her hand, thine eye shall not pity her.”

What? All for defending her husband! And you have to love this line, “thine eye shall not pity her”! Oh loving God!

Women, are you still worshipping this mythological, sadistic, male-chauvinist God? You say you didn’t learn about this in Sunday school? Why not? Did they only teach you that “God is love; God is peace”. If so, you were lied to like millions of other Christians, both women and men.

The fact is, there is no God. This Jewish religion was stolen from ancient mythologies which were not describing religious practices! The sadastic Jewish Priests added these abominable verses [and countless others], corrupted the mythologies, and damned women [and man] forever.

You need not be a feminist, lesbian, bi-sexual, mother, nor even a women, to realize the horrendous injustice spewed forth in the Bible by this allegedly loving, omniscient, and omnipotent God. Enough is enough!

Can a woman actually fight God? Women need not fight God; for there is no God! Women need to stand up and be counted! Do not be deceived by the threat of hell and damnation. Unloose the chains of God and religion. Free yourself and enjoy a life of freedom. For sin is a priestly creation.

It comes down to this. As a women, you should either:
1. Believe in this monster of the Bible called God, and want no part of his world, his heaven, nor his religion; yea, hate him. -or-
2. Don’t believe in God at all.

Of course, the second choice here is the best. It was not any god who subjected women to second-class citizenry, but ancient Hebrew priests.

The author (a man) is appalled at the cruel and debauch treatment of women in the Bible. If a man in today’s world would commit the offenses committed by God and man in the above-mentioned passages, the modern-day man would be severly punished under the laws of most countries in the world. Yet, we should realize that those very same Biblical passages are what helped to create the society in which we live. The fact is, most of the freedoms denied us, are denied us on the basis of religion, not nature. For nature is bound by a different set of laws. For example, if an object is dropped, the unchanging law of gravity will pull the object toward the earth. Nature dictates our bounds and our freedoms. Nature is the true life force governing our world. When we let people create these Bible-inspired laws that go against nature, we also let them take away the very freedoms which nature has granted us (those freedoms ironically called our “God-given freedoms”). Do you want to worship a god? Then worship “Mother Nature”!

You have heard it said that “God is good”. However, reading these very few of countless similar Bible passages, you would be hard-pressed to find the good in this abominable God.

Number the author amongst those of the women’s liberation movement; amongst the Free-thinkers, the Humanists, yea, the Atheists! Number the author amongst those in favor of human rights. Number the author against the laws of God and the unjust Bible-inspired laws of human-kind.
