EVERYBODY SING!!!... "Jesus loves the little children. All the little children of the world. Red and yellow, black and white; they are precious in His sight. Jesus loves the little children of the world..."

Children vs. God
Do you teach your children to pray to this Child-Neglecter?????
(1st Case of the Children vs. God)
(by Robert d'Aubigné)

I know not if the television commercial of which I reference here, airs in other parts of the world, but here in the United States of America, many will recognize it.

Am I the only one who is appalled at this oxymoronic advertising?

The scene is of starving, homeless, afflicted, naked children, being attacked, not only by the hot sun, but by hoards of flies as well. In the background is the melodic tune:

“Jesus loves the little children. All the little children of the world. Red & yellow, black & white; they are precious in His sight. Jesus loves the little children of the world.”

WHAT?!?!? GIVE ME A BREAK!

Are these Bible-Thumpers serious?!?! Is this not all the evidence we need to bring a conviction of Child-Neglect against this "loving" Father?

1. IF Jesus exists; and 2. IF Jesus is omnipotent; and 3. IF Jesus loves the little children; then why doesn't He feed them??????

From our youth, we are being bombarded with the mendacity that God is our Father. Well, then why doesn’t He act like our Father? I am hardly in a position to feed the hungry masses of the world. BUT...as a father, I AM able to feed, clothe, & shelter my own children; do my best to protect them from disease and injury; and comfort them in times of infirmity.

If I, as a lowly human being am able to do this; cannot an omnipotent being do it for “His” children? After all, "consider the lilies of the field..."

Matthew 6:28-34 "And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof."

Are not His “children” greater than these flowers? How humorous! Take no thought for tomorrow? Is this not a license to be lazy? Sorry, I can't work today, I'm reading the Bible, seeking the kingdom of God and his righteousness.

My daughter (9 years of age) tells me I'm "the best dad in the whole world". So I asked her this question: If I stopped feeding you and your brothers; and let you starve, would I still be the best dad in the world? She replied, "No. I'd still love you; but you wouldn't be the best dad because if you did that, you wouldn't love us." An excellent answer! "...thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes." (I couldn't resist using their own scripture on them)

So the question begs to be asked:

WHY ARE THESE CHILDREN BEING TORTURED WHEN GOD (ALLEGEDLY) LOVES THEM; AND (ALLEGEDLY) HAS THE POWER TO STOP THEIR PAIN?

There are certain to be an abundance of additional cases of “Children vs. God”. But let’s leave the theists with that simple question. Do you think we’ll get a simple answer...or an answer at all?
